On June 26, 2024, we marked a significant milestone by participating in our first-ever TV interviews. Not only did we have two interviews scheduled for the same morning, but one of them was LIVE! One interview for Telemundo and the other for NBC. The preparations behind the scenes were extensive, involving everything from selecting the outfits the models would wear to coordinating the interview rundown with the TV channel’s team.
Our founder shared that the experience was both nerve-wracking and exhilarating. Being in the spotlight with all the lights and cameras recording live created tension, but the opportunity to be interviewed and share the meaning behind my brand was one of immense gratitude.
We were not alone in this journey. We had the pleasure of being accompanied by another creative force from the Dominican Republic, Carla Vidal, and her brand, Nineteen Seventy. Our brands were selected to be part of an accelerator program called Amplify, developed by Resonance. Amplify is dedicated to providing Dominican creators with the tools they need to run sustainable and profitable fashion businesses.
On the same day, we celebrated the launch of Ventanas, a movement that unites Dominicans around the world through fashion, culture, and creativity.
